Wexford Opera House, here we come!
This weekend we are returning to the wonderful Wexford Opera House on Friday, Nov. 17th for our penultimate performance of All Spanxed Up! Yes, folks, don’t miss this show because it’s one of your last chances to catch our 2017 show. It’s all go, book tickets here, and we highly recommend staying over. They’re only mad craic in Wexford! Check out last year’s after show party:
Hittin’ Up Greystones this weekend, Y’all…
Yep. You heard it right. We are heading down to lovely Greystones this Saturday, Nov. 11th to play the new and rockin‘ Whale Theatre, so come on down, bring your nearest and dearest, and come raise the roof with The Nualas: All Spanxed Up!
Tickets here. It’s not over til the voluptuously proportioned, very large lady sings.
Back From The Shack!
Just back from the wilds of Cape Cod and my 2 week residency in a dune shack. It was incredible and I’ve definitely checked off one thing from my Bucket List. Shack on the beach, check!
I hit the ground running last week and started my Fall tour with The Nualas already as well as tv and radio to ramp things up. Also, my new coaching videos are continuing now that I’m back; here’s the newest addition to my Youtube channel, ‘The Hunter Gatherer Brain’ and how you can manage things when it gets the better of you. Get ready to rock the rest of this year, and we’re off!
Enough: The Magic Word
Enough is always a good place to start when it comes to preparation and practice. Do your homework, rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Then take a break.
The 4 Hour Work Rule: Less Is Always More
My new voice coaching video blogs are coming thick and fast. I’m absolutely loving it. Here’s my latest – good news for everyone. Quality not quantity wins the day everytime. Happy hunting!
Summer Is Here!
I’m taking the next few weeks off from my busy touring schedule with The Nualas to work on my voice coaching videos and singing. This summer I’ll be jetting off to Cape Cod for a 2-week stay at a shack on the beach, a residency that I was awarded by the OCARC in Provincetown. Very excited! And terrified… I’ll be expected to chowcase any work I’ve accomplished during my stay for a public performance. So if you’re in the neighborhood on August 25th, come on over to Ptown and see the madness. Watch this space… Ciao!
PS. Here’s me gaff!
Remember. This Saturday. Pavilion Theatre. Dublin. Yep.
Don’t forget we’re in the Pavilion Theatre this Saturday, March 11 8pm book here for tickets. We’ll be looking for you so make sure you come. We have all the names and addresses of people in Dublin who have laughed or gaffawed in the past week and we will be expecting you!
Pavilion Theatre, Dublin this Saturday. It’s been too long!
This Saturday, March 11 The Nualas are making a long awaited return to the wonderful Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin 8pm 01 231 2929 for tickets. The lovely staff and people of one of our fave theatres are welcoming us back with open arms and even putting on a pig roast for us! (Actually, that isn’t exactly true, Nuala just wants it to happen so she wrote it. Pig-on-a-spit isn’t available that weekend so there’s just a cash bar instead.)
Come on down, people, you don’t want to miss this one. Trust us. You’re gonna love what Nuala’s done to her hair.
Newbridge, Ireland and beyond!
I’m heading to one of our fave haunts this side of the Shannon on Saturday, February 18th, it’s the Riverbank Theatre, Newbridge, Co. Kildare 8pm (045) 448 327 for tickets. It’s The Nualas’ new show with brand new songs and commentary of the state of the world at large (yes, including any madmen, idiots, and eejits who may have recently been elected to office). Expect loads of laughs, spanx, and even a few guffaws thrown in there. You won’t be able to breathe with the laughter. In fact you may cry and even flirt with weeing your pants. It’s that funny.
Come on down and join the party this weekend, see yi’s there!
Kicking off 2017 in style!
Come all ye down to Howth town this Saturday, January 28th ’cause I’m kicking off 2017 with a cracker of a night with comedy trio The Nualas. Get yer glad rags on, rattle yer jewels, and come on down to The Abbey Tavern, Howth, Co. Dublin, 8pm 01 839 0307 for tickets. It’s our first time playing to the good people of Howth and it’s going to be a hoolie and a half! Come on down and bring your nearest and dearest, it’s all go! Nuala even invited Uncle Paddy down, he’s always good for a laugh or two.
